I Made my TV Come out of my Ceiling
I have emerged from a long hibernation, and now my TV emerges from my living room ceiling.
I made this for my 55" LG TV with 300x300mm VESA mount, but I designed it so you guys can make this work with any TV that weighs under 40lbs (~65in), and all for less than $300!
Huge thanks to my video's sponsor, PCBWay, if you don't have a 3D printer or CNC, or you need a PCB prototyped, these guys have you covered. Use this link to get a new user credit: pcbway.com/g/A95Hm4

Buy now 😂😂😂😂 how much!!
Thanks for your video efforts, but at 5:37 you state this is a 14 pole motor, and I assume that info is used when using a factor of 7 to calculate actual RPM from Electrical RPM. At 09:30 you show an image of a stator complete with windings, there are 12 poles not 14 poles visible in the image. Can you confirm that is an image of the same motor being tested, or was the motor under test 14 poles?😉
Аккумуляторы с движком не тянут на 2000.
Love it!🔥🔥🥰
Genius idea, well done!! Get a lapel mic 👍🏻👍🏻
I like you idea and projekt... but you broke my rule no 1: Never put your tv infront of a window imo. -I just hate watching a dark screen with bright lights behind it....
Good point, but thats why we close the shades when watching TV. I just had them open for better lighting while recording the video.
Assim é forte, agora quando sobe uma pessoa de 70, 80kg fica lento e nem sobe pequenas ladeiras
Invente Eric, Invente!! Love it! 👍🏽💪🏽
this dude doesnt upload for like 2 years and then just drops another video without mentioning anything 😂

Okay what types of bratty are does a motor.
I love how he has a cnc on his desk that cuts aluminum well enough and still proceeds to make parts for the cnc with the printer while knowing rigidity is the issue.
What notor do u used sir? And do u used step/dir interface odrive for control the motion?
CNC *machine* . Saying "I'm not happy with my CNC" means that you aren't happy with your Computer Numerical Control. Does that make sense? No, it doesn't. It's a CNC _machine_ .
Hmm very high speed 🎉
Слишком низко расположен мотор .
Ground clearance ?if speed break your motor and battary crash
How much?? I’m in Miami
Wow nice!
До первой ямы 😂 и всё что внизу будет уничтожено
dude, you're a crazy genius)) wouldn't it be easier for you not to spend money and time on all this shit and buy the necessary spare parts and assemble a cool CNC? :))) nice fun :))) nice insane fun huh?)))) Truly you cool, thanks)))
and this whole time while upgrading your kit, you were still using those weak nema 17 motors for x and y :D
Ещё ближе к земле надо было поставить оборудование
🤣Tocca sull'asfalto 👉🏻il motore troppo sotto 🤕 🛴👌🏻
Motor or battery may touch the ground 🥲👎If it was me I would put the motor and battery on the scooter
Way to much of an investment and it still vibrates too much. Buy new frame rails, cut thick aluminum gantry sides, get some NEMA 23 Closed loop motors and accessories and take the good stuff out of the revamped -18 and use it in a new machine. I assume you will use extruded slot frames units, so fill them with epoxy granite and cast an epoxy granite mount (your first epoxy granite piece) and don't fill the extruded rails until you have the unit trued and through bolted (use long threaded rods). Ya, it will get heavy and will need a real solid workbench, but your accuracy and finish will show. Then rebuild the 3018 and mount a laser on it (like for doing name plates or maybe a wire EMD cutter)..
I'm going to snag one of these base machines tomorrow for $75, I'll definitely have to see how well I can beef it up with some of these upgrades.
I wonder how much weight can it handle
Very nice for a first attempt but..... Experiments in a wind tunnel give much more accurate and repeatable data when done in laminar flow. By putting your ventilator in front of the model, you shoot a lot of very turbulent air onto the airfoil. The only thing you can really see here is that it actually moves. By moving the ventilator to the other side of the 'tunnel', and having it suck air *out* of the box, the flow around the airfoil will be less turbulent. Adding a honeycomb structure at the side where the air is sucked into the box, can reduce the turbulence even more, and create something which may start to look like laminar flow. The honeycomb structure should consist of small parallel pipes, similar to straws for drinking, placed in the direction of the flow of course, and cover the whole of the entrance. The walls of the straws should be thin compared to the diameter, to avoid introducing lots of drag. Pulling the rotor even further away from the airfoil (making the box much longer) will also help to improve laminar flow. I guess you will have learned this by now since the video is already 10 years old. But then my comment may help your viewers who would like to copy your setup. Just copying would be a bad idea if they want to create something that actually deserves to be called a wind tunnel.
I have the same one but how do you make it electric like that
Motor, bike chain & rotor, battery or a conversion kit to e-bike
if you sell this as a kit you can recoup your losses :) id buy a kit :)
You should clamp your workpeaces better, this eliminates vibrations and saves you a lot of endmills! Especially at high RPM´s
Please for the love of God do not use WD40
Can this be used to cut wood?
Yes of course!
Make it wider with more surface area
why servo, why not a BLDC motor?
Good question. A few reasons: 1. Torque- servos have built in gearboxes and are built to have more torque at lower speeds than similar standalone bldc motors, and especially this high torque servo 2. Cost - bldc motors that could handle this torque would be very large and expensive, or would require an external gearbox, not to mention a bldc motor controller, could easily be 3-4x cost 3. Simplicity- these servos have built in position control, so we dont need an extra encoder like we would need for a bldc if we only wanted to move it 90deg, also dont need a motor controller (esc) and are more more compact
I am really impressed - I never thought you can do anything with the stock nema17 steppers. First thing I did was upgrading to TB6600 and NEMA23 - but you got so much further.
One speed bump and it's over
Very impressive!
Wtf u do to this joint them joints don’t be goin over 9mph lol teach us
can you send me complete set cnc router cutting thin al ?
Is this a brushless engine?
Hello Eric, great video! What was the process on determining the right servo motor for your application? Is the amount of torque needed for your servo motor dependent on the ball valve, or the fluid pressure within the ball valve?
In the end the torque needed would depend on both, theres an opposing torque (in the form of friction) from the valve itself and additonal torque needed depending on the pressure in the line. In low pressure applications (like a water hose) youll mainly be dealing with the valves friction, but in high pressure applications the force may require extra torque when closing
Bro this is so dangerous if you let off the throttle, the wheel stops which means when your going very fast and you let off throttle it’s gonna stop the wheel and your gonna slide and fall.
it just stops because of the motors resistance against spinning, when there's momentum involved (of the rider with weight going at speed) the wheel won't instantly lock but will probably slow you down quite a bit
i think he need to add free wheel sprocket
Was just about to say the same thing the wheels need to be free spining and that motor and everything else should have been mounted on top of the deck with a cover to go over top that you would then stand on I would also make that rear brake so it doesn't move so its only purpose would be to act as a mud fender so many thing I would have done differently on this concept isn't bad but the engineering isn't the best and obviously wasn't thought out too well just someone fiddling with RC stuff to attempt to make a good electric scooter out of a shit one it's possible but this design is just asking for trouble would get seriously hurt if that battery pack and motor gets caught up on the ground battery would explode and motor too which sends flames and shrapnel everywhere @@ieyazzu9297
@@lol-ws6po oh
nice concept
What scooter is that
can this be converted for an 1/8" ball valve? if so would it still require extra amperage?
Thank you for this. Will use it to control propane flow to a coffee roaster.
